Breathing Through The Uncertain

This series—produced during the COVID-19 pandemic—employs the visual experience of glasses fogging up by wearing a face mask as an expressive medium, to convey the uncertainty with which we look towards both present and future.
Behind the mask, the warmth of the breath envelops the skin, yet it offers no consolation. Within a few steps, the heart beats faster, following the rhythm of the breath; people and objects momentarily lose their shape. Our distance from the reality we once thought we knew is growing, as is the distance between people.
